Something seems to be off in your input data here. You're finding 44 heart conditions for 2021, but this blog is counting 395 athlete cardiac arrests or issues and 232 deaths since Covid shot:
This dataset includes around 20k higher profile players for whom injuries are actively tracked for out of 900k total in Transfermarkt. Reason being that it's easier to standardise and compare heart injuries between different years. Transfermarkt may also be missing some injuries or labelling them as unknown, but one could expect that similar thing would influence all seasons.
The idea is not to count all, but just to have a comparison with other years and idea of frequency, as with the list above there isn't a denominator or comparison with other years. From how large pool of athletes, is the list compiled out of?
Not all of them in that article are elite soccer players, but I agree it is more. There is another source indicating 24 deaths of elite national or professional compared to usual total of 6 per year. I think the multiplier is more like 3 to 4. I will try to hunt down the source tomorrow.
Contracture... https://www.acquiredbraininjury-education.scot.nhs.uk/impact-of-abi/physical-impairments-related-to-movement/normal-movement-and-movement-following-acquired-brain-injury/physical-impairments-related-to-brain-injury/contracture/

That seems like a 10x difference.
